On Thursday, the second semi-final second leg of the "Coppa Italia" was played.
"Atalanta" defeated "Fiorentina" at home with a score of 2:1 and advanced to the final of the tournament. The first leg ended in a draw with a score of 3:3, and "Atalanta" won the series with an aggregate score of 5:4.
"Fiorentina" started the match more successfully and took the lead in the 3rd minute when L. Muriel, who broke through to the goalkeeper, did not miss and sent the ball into the net.
"Atalanta" equalized the score in the 14th minute - J. Ilicic successfully converted a penalty kick. The winning goal for the hosts was scored by A. Gomez in the 69th minute.
"Atalanta" will face "Lazio" in the Italian Cup final, as the latter defeated "AC Milan" in the semi-finals.
