One of the main disappointments for "Manchester United" club at the end of this summer was the failed transfer of the "Athletic Bilbao" team's defender.
Ander Herrera admits that the attention from the English champions is pleasant, but denies any agreement with the team led by David Moyes.
According to reports, A. Herrera's buyout clause was 36 million euros, but "Manchester United" would have had to pay a bit more due to certain tax system nuances.
"I haven't reached any agreement with 'United.' I'm glad that such a club is interested in me, but the 'Athletic' team wanted me to stay, so the negotiations didn't continue and I appreciate that," said the 24-year-old Spaniard.
"Firstly, 'Manchester United' had to pay the buyout clause and lure me in. I don't see myself in any other team," the Spaniard continued.
