After a two-week break, the 29th round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship started.
"Girona" hosted Bilbao "Athletic" at home. The Basques, who had a slow start to the season, secured their third victory in the last five matches and moved up to the eighth place.
In the 37th minute, "Girona" took the lead after Christian Stuani's goal, but "Athletic" scored two goals at the beginning of the second half and triumphed with a score of 2:1.
Inaki Williams and Raul Garcia scored the goals for the visitors.
Without any points, "Girona" remains in 12th place.
