Klaipėda's "Atlantas" battled against Panevėžys' "Ekranas" on their home ground. Valdas Dambrauskas' team managed to return from the port city with one point.
The hosts took the lead first, when Edgaras Žarskis scored in the 7th minute, but Elivelto equalized just 3 minutes later.
There was no need to wait long for "Atlantas" to respond, as Tadas Eliošius disarmed Luka Žukauskas in the 18th minute. However, in the second half, Tomas Dapkus snatched the equalizer for the Panevėžys team.
"Atlantas" still struggles to catch up with the leaders. The Lithuanian vice-champions currently rank third with 13 points, while "Ekranas" is satisfied with the sixth place.
In other matches, Marijampolė's "Sūduva" also showed no mercy to Alytus' "Dainava". The residents of Marijampolė crushed their opponents with a score of 5-0 on their home ground.
