"Atletico" and "Roma" targeted J. Lingard

"Manchester United" attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard has not been demonstrating the kind of game that the team's fans expect from him for a long time, and lately there have been more and more reports about a possible departure of the Englishman. It was expected that the 27-year-old footballer would leave Manchester as early as January, but the long-time "Red Devils" player will at least stay in his current team until the summer. ESPN reports that at the moment, two clubs are actively interested in J. Lingard's services - Madrid's "Atletico" and "Roma", who would like to see the midfielder in their ranks if he decides to seek a new career station. Lingard's current contract with "Man Utd" is valid until the summer of 2021, with an option to extend it for another season. Foreign media report that J. Lingard has already had several conversations with Manchester club officials about a new contract, but does not rule out the possibility of moving to another team. The attacking midfielder has scored only 2 goals and made 1 assist in 32 games this season."
