The first Madrid derby outside of Europe will go down in history. In a friendly match, Atletico's team "bombed" the goal of Madrid's Real team.
In the first half, Real, conceding five goals, finished the match in the US with a 3-7 defeat.
Atletico's team shattered the opponent's defense in the first half. Diego Costa scored three goals before halftime, and Joao Felix and Angel Correa each added one.
In the second half, D. Costa increased the score to 6:0, but soon Real scored their first goal.
In the 65th minute, D. Costa ended his sensational appearance with a red card - he and Dani Carvajal were sent off the field.
Even playing with ten players, the teams were not ready to calmly end the match. In the 70th minute, Vitolo scored the seventh goal for Atletico.
At the end of the match, the Madrid team managed to reduce the gap when Karim Benzema and Javier Hernandez scored goals. However, this did not bring any joy to the "white" fans - a defeat by four goals.
