On Thursday, four matches of the 11th round of the "Primera" championship were played in Spain.
"Granada" hosted guests from Madrid at their stronghold. The victory with a score of 1-2 was achieved by the second-placed "Atletico" players.
The first goal in the victorious team was scored by Diego Costa, who sent the ball into the opponents' goal from the penalty spot in the 38th minute.
The second goal in this match was scored by David Villa, who also scored from the penalty spot. However, Idion Jude Ighalo softened the result at the end of the match, but it did not save them from defeat.
In other matches, "Villarreal" had to acknowledge the superiority of Madrid's "Getafe" at home. The convincing victory with a score of 0-2 was achieved by the team from the capital.
Ciprian Marica scored the first goal for the visitors, and Pablo Sarabia secured the final point in added time with a successful pass from Pedro Leon.
It is worth mentioning that in the 39th minute, "yellow" center-back Pablo Iniguez was sent off the field.
In Seville and the city of Bilbao, two matches were also played. "Athletic" and "Elche" played to a draw, while the match between "Real Betis" and Valencia's "Levante" ended goalless.
