Right back defender Juanfran of the Madrid team "Atletico" has decided to tie his future with the capital's team.
The experienced 28-year-old defender agreed to sign a new contract with "Atleti", which will keep the Spaniard in the team until 2017.
The football player moved to Madrid in the winter of 2011. At that time, "Atletico" paid 4.25 million euros for the defender, and since then he has become a key player in the team.
According to reports, Juanfran rejected an offer from London's team "Arsenal" last winter and chose to continue playing in Spain.
"I would like to thank the club's coaches and management for their trust in me. I am proud to wear this team's jersey and I want to do so for many more years," said Juanfran after extending his contract.
