Madrid's "Atletico" continues to try to protect their young club stars in every way possible.
It is announced on the official website that a new six-year contract has been signed with 23-year-old Argentine Angel Correa. The footballer becomes an increasingly important player in the team led by Diego Simeone each season.
"I am glad that the club trusts me and I am proud that I will be able to continue to improve as a footballer in this team," A. Correa said after signing the new contract.
The versatile winger arrived in Madrid in 2014. D. Simeone brought him from "San Lorenzo," where he started his professional career.
In total, A. Correa has already played 139 matches and scored 25 goals for "Atletico."
