Madrid's "Atletico" continues the traditions of last season. Last season's champions "colchoneros" extended their winning streak in the last 15 minutes of many matches, and this season they have started similarly. In the fourth round match away against "Espanyol," Madrid's "Atletico" extended their victory in the 99th minute and took a 2-1 victory from Barcelona. In the first half, "Espanyol" broke through after Raul de Thomas's accurate shot. However, in the 79th minute, Yannick Carrasco managed to equalize, and in the 9th minute of added time, the victory was secured by Thomas Lemar who came off the bench.
After four rounds, the Spanish champions have 10 points in their account, while Barcelona's "Espanyol" only has 2 points.
