The goalkeeper of Atletico Madrid, Thibaut Courtois, is convinced that his team will be able to defeat Real Madrid in the upcoming matches. The Belgian national team member also celebrates the second place in the Spanish Primera championship and believes that they will be able to maintain such good form for a long time.
"Atletico has a great team and we can beat Real," said the goalkeeper to journalists. "We know the strengths and weaknesses of this club, so we are determined to fight only for victory."
"I think our form is good at the moment. Some will be able to maintain it, while others may not, but I am convinced that we will not play worse," added T. Courtois.
The Madrid derby will take place on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Atletico has 18 points, while Real has 16.
