Madrid "Atletico" leaders are laying out the team's future guidelines.
"Football Espana" wrote that the "La Liga" team offered a three-year contract to former Spanish national team coach Luis Enrique.
However, "Atletico" is not planning to dismiss current coach Diego Simeone and will only reconsider a possible departure of the Argentine.
It was announced earlier that the long-time coach of the Madrid club may step down from his position in the summer if he fails to secure a place for the team in the next season's UEFA Champions League tournament.
