Madrid's "Atletico" will seek to acquire midfielder Marko Grujić, who is currently playing on loan for Berlin's "Hertha" club during the approaching summer, owned by the "Liverpool" team, ESPN reports.
The 23-year-old Serbian could become a replacement for Rodri, who is most likely leaving Madrid and is actively being pursued by "Manchester City". "Liverpool" expects to receive at least 40 million euros for the player.
M. Grujić arrived at Liverpool in 2016 from Belgrade's "Crvena Zvezda" team, but has only played in 14 matches for the Liverpool team. The midfielder was loaned out to "Cardiff City" for the second half of last season.
This season in Germany, M. Grujić has played in 20 matches, scoring 4 goals. The midfielder has also played in 8 matches for the Serbian national team.
