"Atletico" Madrid president Enrique Cerezo denied rumors that Antoine Griezmann will move to "Manchester United" this summer.
These rumors have been circulating for a long time. In addition, the Frenchman himself recently added fuel to the fire on a television show by stating that his transfer is "possible."
However, the "mattresses" have huge plans for the future: recently coach Diego Simeone announced his decision to stay, and from next season the capital club will move to the new "Wanda Metropolitano" stadium.
"Will Griezmann be there (at the old Vicente Calderon stadium - ed. note)? Well, no, he will be at Wanda Metropolitano," Cerezo told reporters.
"He intends to be at Wanda Metropolitano."
26-year-old Griezmann moved to "Atletico" in 2015 and has since become one of the best footballers in the world. This season, in 53 matches in all competitions, he scored 26 goals and provided 12 assists.
