While football fans impatiently count down the time until the Champions League knockout stage starting in February, Enrique Cerezo, the president of Atletico Madrid, decided to express his opinion about the upcoming opponent.
According to the Spaniard, he believes in his club's chances to surprise and eliminate Juventus with Cristiano Ronaldo from the tournament.
"This team is one of the best in all of Europe, but we will try to defeat them. I have great respect for Juventus' president Andrea Agnelli and I think the team that reaches the next stage will make it to the final. Hopefully, it will be us."
