"Marca" reports that Diego Costa, who is currently not playing in matches, has returned to the capital of Spain and will once again wear the jersey of Madrid's "Atletico".
The 28-year-old footballer has not been playing for London's "Chelsea" since the end of last season due to a conflict with Antonio Conte. This summer, "Atletico" tried to regain the forward, but could not reach an agreement with "Chelsea" regarding the final price.
It is said that this coming winter, "Atletico" will finally get D. Costa back. The club will not get the Spanish citizenship holder cheaply - they will have to pay a record sum.
"Marca" claims that "Atletico" will offer 55 million euros and an additional 10 million in bonuses.
Last season, D. Costa played 42 matches with "Chelsea" and scored 22 goals.
