The Madrid team "Atletico" took the final step to try to keep forward Antoine Griezmann in their ranks.
It is reported that the 27-year-old player already has one foot in the "Barcelona" club, as the Catalans intend to use the buyout option in the footballer's contract.
The "Daily Mail" wrote that "Atletico" presented Griezmann with a very lucrative contract.
The contract includes a yearly salary of up to 25 million euros, a significantly higher amount than what "Barcelona" offers for the talent (15 million euros).
In the past, the striker has also played for the "Real Sociedad" club.
