A.Vidalis: "I want "Barca" to be my final club"

Aleix Vidalis completed all the formalities and officially became a member of "Barcelona."

On Monday morning, the health of the 25-year-old footballer was checked by the medical staff of the Catalan team. After their examination, there were no more obstacles to signing the contract.

A. Vidal put his signature on a five-year contract with "Barcelona," which will be valid until June 30, 2020.

During the player's presentation ceremony, the vice president of the Catalan club, Jordi Mestre, revealed more information about the deal. "Sevilla" received 18 million euros for A. Vidal from "Barcelona." The Andalusian team may also receive an additional 4 million euros payment, depending on the player's personal performance indicators and "Barcelona's" results.

Due to FIFA sanctions, the Catalan club cannot register new players until January 2016, so A. Vidal will have to wait for his debut.

"I don't see any problems. I will have enough time to understand the team's playing schemes and grasp other important nuances. I have played for many teams in my career, so now I really hope that 'Barcelona' will be my last club," said the "Barcelona" newcomer at a press conference.

A. Vidal confirmed that on Monday morning he had already spoken with "Barcelona's" head coach Luis Enrique.

"Already on Sunday evening, I knew for sure that I would be playing for 'Barca.' The negotiations with 'Sevilla' went very quickly and I am happy that they ended successfully. If Daniel Alves were to remain in the team, our position would have a healthy competition, and I think that is beneficial," considered the Catalan.
