The head coach of London's Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, admits that Alexis Sanchez feels a great deal of fatigue, but he is too important for the team and must play.
The 26-year-old forward, who cost the "Gunners" 38 million euros in the summer, is irreplaceable this season and has already played 39 matches.
Until mid-December, A. Sanchez scored 15 goals in Arsenal's ranks and was the main architect of victories. However, the Chilean's form has recently been declining due to fatigue.
"Alexis has scored fewer goals because he is a bit tired," the coach said. "Of course, I will give him time to rest, but not right now."
"Now every match is very important, and giving him rest at this moment would be illogical," Wenger added.
