Former London's "Arsenal" defender Cesc Fabregas moved from "Barcelona" club to "Chelsea" this summer, but Arsene Wenger does not regret having refused the opportunity to acquire the Catalan.
The 27-year-old footballer spent eight years in the ranks of the "Gunners" and left the team in 2011 when he moved to the team where he started playing football.
In the match between "Chelsea" and "Burnley" clubs on Monday, C. Fabregas stood out with his vision and excellent passes - qualities for which he became famous while still being a member of "Arsenal."
"Yes, I watched the match," said A. Wenger. "It was strange to see him wearing the 'Chelsea' kit. We have to accept that professional footballers often change clubs. When he left 'Arsenal,' it was predictable that he would play in another club. Of course, it was a bit strange, but he played a great game."
"I don't regret not buying him this summer. I just regret that he left us," said the Frenchman.
However, A. Wenger believes that Aaron Ramsey can be a star in the club no less than C. Fabregas was.
"Aaron Ramsey is a different player than Cesc. He has a lot of potential, and I think we will see him improve. He is younger than Fabregas, so he can give more to the club in the future," said the 64-year-old specialist.
