A.Wenger faces threat of fine for losing control (VIDEO)

Last weekend's match cost a lot of nerves for the coach of the "Arsenal" team Arsene Wenger. The "Gunners" took the lead in the 59th minute against "Burnley" with a score of 1-0, but soon midfielder Granit Xhaka was sent off the field. At the end of the match, the opponents were favored by the referee - they were awarded a penalty kick which they converted. It was at this moment that Wenger attacked the fourth official and spewed out ugly words, leading to his expulsion to the stands. Earlier, the Frenchman had shown his discontent when seven extra minutes were added. However, "Arsenal" emerged victorious when Alexis Sanchez also stood at the penalty spot - making it 2-1. After the match, Wenger said: "I regret everything. I should have kept my cool, accepted everything and gone home. I apologize for everything. I didn't say anything bad, it's everyday language in football and nine times out of ten you won't be sent to the stands for it". Meanwhile, the FA announced that they have initiated an investigation and Wenger could face punishment. "In the 92nd minute of the match, the coach insulted the fourth official and was expelled, but his behavior in the tunnel and his attempt to make physical contact will be considered separately. Until January 26 at 6 PM, we will wait for Wenger's response to these allegations."
