London's Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger said he didn't even try to compete with Man Utd, PSG and Liverpool clubs for the acquisition of PSV striker Memphis Depay.
According to the Frenchman, his team has enough high-level players and the acquisition of a newcomer wouldn't have changed the situation.
"I like this player, but we already have a large selection in his position.
Our squad is of the highest level and we would only change something if the opportunity arose to strengthen it."
Reminder, the 21-year-old M.Depay will cost around 30 million euros for the Man Utd team.
