London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger expressed a clear opinion on players who simulate injuries and stated that they should be strictly banned.
In the English Premier League, there have been recent incidents where London's "Chelsea" club suffered the most. Diego Costa and Willian were shown yellow cards for diving against "Hull City", but Cesc Fabregas in a match against "Southampton" could have been awarded a penalty kick, but the referee judged it to be simulation, although a different opinion could be formed from the video replay.
"I am against simulations. The only way to avoid them is through strict penalties. I believe that the FA should review the video replay after each incident and then properly punish the players," said A. Wenger.
"Only in this way can we easily determine whether there was simulation or not. This is a big problem and we need to fight against it," concluded the strategist who has worked in England for many years.
