25-year-old Ukrainian footballer Andriy Yarmolenko has agreed to sign a new contract with Kyiv's "Dynamo".
Last summer, the Ukrainian was of interest to Liverpool's "Everton", and recently London's "Chelsea" has also shown interest in the forward, with head coach Jose Mourinho watching the match between the Ukrainian and Spanish national teams, in which A. Yarmolenko played.
The forward's contract with "Dynamo" was set to expire in 2016, but under the new contract, the duration has been extended until 2020. A. Yarmolenko admits that one day he would like to move to another European league.
"I still want to test myself in the strongest European league," said the footballer. "I know that if 'Dynamo' receives a big offer for me, we will be able to reach an agreement."
"I want the club to receive a good compensation for me. I couldn't leave this club for free, so this contract is only beneficial. In any case, I am committed to this team 100% and will fight for it until the very last day," added A. Yarmolenko, who has already scored eight goals in 13 matches this season.
