"Barcelona" club's sports director Andoni Zubizarreta spared no praise for the Uruguayan national team and "Liverpool" club striker Luis Suarez.
27-year-old footballer apologized to Giorgio Chiellini on his Twitter account for his behavior during the match between Uruguay and Italy.
A. Zubizarreta stated that this step by L. Suarez is a proof of his humility.
"Suarez showed that he is humble enough to admit his mistake, and that is very important. Everyone knows that Luis is a great player, who played in any attacking position last season, but also everyone knows that he is a 'Liverpool' club player," said the Catalan team's sports director.
As it is known, due to FIFA's decision, L. Suarez will not be able to play for four months, but despite these sanctions, the footballer has been linked to a move to Barcelona for some time.
