"Bournemouth" manager Eddie Howe has confirmed that his club has reached an agreement for the acquisition of "Wolverhampton" striker Benik Afobe.
According to various reports, the striker will cost around 10 million pounds, which is a record for new arrivals in the "Premier" league.
"The agreement has been reached. There are still a few obstacles we have to overcome, but we hope he will sign the contract by Tuesday," Howe said.
"He brings power and, hopefully, goals. We can't wait to see him in action within "Bournemouth" if the agreement is completed."
Afobe joined the "Wolves" in 2015 after leaving London's "Arsenal", where he never played a single match for the first team.
Last season, the striker scored 13 goals in 21 "Championship" matches, and this year he already has nine accurate shots to his name.
