The shining Bruno Fernandes from Lisbon's "Sporting" club has signed a new contract with this Portuguese club.
The 25-year-old Portuguese national team player was in high demand by major European clubs this summer, with "Manchester United" showing the most interest.
However, the new attacking midfielder's contract will be valid for the same period as the old one - until the summer of 2023, but now the player's release clause is much higher, reaching up to 100 million euros.
"I always do everything to help my team. The new contract not only shows that I am performing my duties properly but also that it is a huge honor for me to play in this club.
"You can expect the same or even better performances from me. I promise that my dedication to the team will remain the same," - said B. Fernandes after signing the contract.
The Portuguese has already played 17 matches for "Sporting" this season, scoring 9 goals and making 6 assists.
