Benjamin Mendy took responsibility for the loss to Wolverhampton.
Last Friday night, Manchester City failed to hold a two-goal lead and suffered a defeat with a score of 2:3. Mendy played a significant role in Wolves' comeback, providing the assist for their second goal to Adam Traore.
"It's easy to talk when things are going well, but it's difficult when things don't go as planned," the footballer wrote on his social media account.
"I made a mistake last night and I owe it to you (the fans) who continue to support us. It's time to lift our heads up and work towards getting back on track," added the defender.
