Croatia reached the Nations League final in Rotterdam.

In the semifinals, "chess players" defeated the Netherlands 4:2 after extra time.

The first half was a bit slow from both sides, but in the 34th minute Donyell Malen managed to put the "flying Dutchmen" in front.

In the second half, Croatia showed a completely different face. Luka Modric won a penalty kick after Cody Gakpo's mistake, and soon Andrej Kramaric equalized the score.

In the 72nd minute after Mario Pasalic's goal, Zlatko Dalic's team broke through. However, the Netherlands found their answer, with Noa Lang extending the match in the final minute.

During extra time, substitute Bruno Petkovic scored the decisive goal. The "Trabzonspor" newcomer scored a long-range shot, and a little later everything was sealed by Luka Modric's penalty kick.

In the other semifinal, Italy will face Spain tomorrow.
