"Manchester United" legend Bryan Robson believes that Paul Pogba could take over the role of club captain from Wayne Rooney in the future.
The French national team member became the world's most expensive footballer last summer when the "Red Devils" from Turin re-signed him for £89 million.
The 24-year-old midfielder is still finding his feet in England, but his excellent skills and leadership qualities were already noticeable this season.
"The decision on who will be captain will be made by Jose Mourinho, but as soon as Paul Pogba settles back into the club, adapts to the Premier League again, and continues to improve, I think he is suitable to be captain," Robson told Sport Witness.
"I think Paul works very hard in training. I think he wants to be one of the best, if not the best midfielder in the world, so he will continue to work on that, not stop improving, and become a truly prominent player for Manchester United."
This season, Pogba played 42 matches in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
