Football specialist Brendan Rodgers does not intend to argue with controversial striker Mario Balotelli, who believes that the Irishman was the worst coach in his career.
Former Liverpool strategist persuaded the Italian to come to the Premier League in 2014, but this decision turned out to be a complete fiasco - Balotelli hardly played and became a burden to the club.
"He joined only at the end of the summer and from the club's point of view, it was like a lottery.
Of course, the striker is very talented and he should have come here to further develop, as all the tools were provided to him.
In the end, Mario tried to slip away, but something didn't work. I tried desperately to find a way to his heart as a player.
If you talk to Balotelli in the office, he seems like a young boy. If only he could use his talent in every match, he would be one of the best in the world," said Rodgers.
"Now he has ended up at Nice and perhaps this is his last chance."
