B. Rodgers: "I wouldn't exchange Vardy for Kane"

"Leicester City" manager Brendan Rodgers is pleased to have a striker like Jamie Vardy in his team.

B. Rodgers' pupils will face London's "Tottenham" team after lunch today. When asked about comparisons between Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy, the coach added that both strikers have their own advantages.

"Harry is a top-class player, but I wouldn't change him for Vardy", said B. Rodgers.

"I've been working closely with Jamie for some time now and I'm convinced that there are few players in the world that you could swap for him. He's incredible when it comes to handling pressure and reading the game, tactically he is also excellent. He has enough appetite, desire, and speed to intercept the ball and score a goal. I like strikers of this style.

We play in the most competitive league in the world, and Vardy is among the elite strikers. I'm lucky to have him in my team", said B. Rodgers.

Comparing H. Kane's and J. Vardy's game, the coach added: "Harry likes to play deep and participate in creating attacks. Jamie relies more on his speed, which I like about him. They are two different strikers, with different styles, but both demonstrate phenomenal numbers in attack."
