Recently recovered from knee and ankle injuries, Bayern Munich's defender Bastian Schweinsteiger has finally started training. The captain of the German national team has not played a single Bundesliga match this season, as he injured his foot during the summer. Just as he recovered from his ankle injury, the footballer then faced troubles with his knee ligament. Schweinsteiger, who won the World Cup with the national team in Brazil, completed his first training session after a few months break. Bayern Munich themselves announced this on their Twitter account:
It's great to see @BSchweinsteiger back on the training field! #FootballLegend #MiaSanMia pic.twitter.com/ABCzmof4Kt
