Long speculations about the future of Red Bull Salzburg's striker Benjamin Sesko have come to an end. Journalist Florian Plettenberg announces that RB Leipzig has reached an agreement with the Austrian champions regarding the transfer of the Slovenian forward. It is said that Leipzig will pay 24 million euros for Sesko, including bonuses, and the player himself will sign a contract valid until 2028. However, the striker will only join the German club in 2023, and this season he will continue to develop in his current team. In recent days, there have been rumors that Manchester United showed great interest in the Slovenian player, but the "Red Devils" failed to reach an agreement for his transfer. Benjamin Sesko played 36 matches last season, scored 10 goals, and made 7 assists.
