B. Silva: "Did a few bad months make Manchester City bad and old?" © zumapress

Manchester City's midfielder Bernardo Silva stated that he does not understand those who blame the poor season of the "Citizens" on older players and reminded everyone of the previous titles of this team:

"Tell me, which player is too old? Name names. Those are the people who don’t understand football.”

"For example: I am 30 years old, Mateo Kovačić is also 30. You are not talking about guys who are 36 years old.”

"We have had four or six bad months... Out of nowhere, we became old and not good enough.”

"Over the last eight seasons, this team has won six Premier League titles... And because of four bad months, we became old? Answer me.”

"That is how people who do not understand this game, have never played it, and probably know nothing about it talk about us.”

Manchester City is currently in fifth place in the English Championship with 48 points.
