Europe's football championship quarterfinals kick off tonight, with an impressive clash between France and Portugal awaiting in one of them.
Bookmakers label the French as favorites in this match, but one of Portugal's leaders, Bernardo Silva, doesn't believe that there can be favorites in such games at all.
"I don't think that any team is a favorite. It's a clash between two amazing national teams, where any player can have a decisive say,"
"France has a unique style of play and really wants to win this European championship, but I don't think any team has clear advantages," said B. Silva.
Portugal also had kind words for French national team leader Kylian Mbappe, with whom he briefly played together at "Monaco."
"Kylian is an amazing player. He started playing for 'Monaco' at just 16 years old and within a week, I was asking Joao Moutinho who this guy is?
Even back then, Mbappe stood out from the rest. I'm glad his career is going so well. I wish him the best of luck, except in Friday's match against us," added B. Silva.
