Former Netherlands national team coach Bert van Marwijk says that he would prefer to have Arjen Robben in his team rather than Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
Currently, L. Messi and C. Ronaldo are considered the best footballers in the world, but the 62-year-old strategist believes that A. Robben is a more "complete" player.
"If I were coaching and could choose between Messi, Ronaldo or Robben, then my choice would be Arjen," said Van Marwijk.
"He is the most complete player out of all three. Robben is more effective in this case compared to Messi and Ronaldo, but everyone focuses only on goals," added the strategist.
Van Marwijk worked with A. Robben for four years in the Netherlands national team and in 2010 reached the World Cup final with him.
