Attacker Ryan Babel has been fined £10,000 for an offensive message on his personal "Twitter" social media account.

The Dutchman mocked several controversial decisions made by referee Howard Webb during the FA Cup clash with Manchester United, by posting a technically edited photo showing the Briton "dressed up" in Liverpool's opponents' jerseys.

Babel apologized for his behavior, but it did not prevent the punishment.
