Ryan Babel does not lose hope to return to the Amsterdam "Ajax" club, even though "Liverpool" agreed on Tuesday to sell the Dutchman to "Hoffenheim" for 8 million euros.
Babel flew to Germany, where he will undergo a medical examination and negotiate personal contract terms.
"Hoffenheim" hopes that Babel will help fill the gap that has arisen in the attack, but the player himself still prefers "Ajax".
It is said that Babel could be included in a deal in which "Liverpool" would acquire "Ajax" attacking star Luis Suarez.
