indaugas Kalonas still has a valid contract with the Azerbaijani club Baku, but is actively looking for a new team.

Although the Lithuanian, who has scored six goals in the league and is among the top scorers of the country's championship, for internal reasons both parties decided to part ways. Unofficially, Baku is demanding 150,000 euros (almost 520,000 Lt) as compensation for the best Lithuanian footballer of 2013.

For now, Kalonas is training with Vilnius' Žalgiris, but will soon return to Azerbaijan. Baku has assigned him a place in the reserve team until his future becomes clearer.

Celebrating his 30th birthday at the end of February, Kalonas has represented teams like Moscow's Dynamo, Kazan's Rubin, Braga, Liepaja's Metalurgs, Krasnodar's Kuban, Riga, Dublin's Bohemians, Zaporizhia's Metalurg, Olsztyn's Stomil, and Baku's Ravan during his career.
