Mario Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola is convinced that the Italian still has a future at Liverpool, now that Jurgen Klopp has become the team's coach.
Having moved to Liverpool for £16 million, Balotelli scored only one goal in 16 appearances under Brendan Rodgers before being loaned out to Milan this year.
However, Raiola still believes that Balotelli can return to the "Reds" and continue his career in England.
"He belongs to the Liverpool team and should return to England at the end of the season," Raiola told Sky Sports.
The agent admitted that he has not yet spoken to Jurgen Klopp about the player's future at the English club, as he thinks it's still too early to discuss it.
"I don't know if Klopp has a plan for him. I haven't talked to him about the player's future yet. I think it's too early for that. If Mario does everything he has to do, I think the team could look at him differently. He had to leave because playing under Rodgers, he didn't have the opportunity to improve. The team had formed a prejudiced opinion about Mario and I think his personal life has proven them wrong. We have to be realistic. In 2015, he played badly and 2016 has to be our year. This is a challenge," the Italian revealed.
This season, due to injuries, Balotelli only played in four matches in Serie A and scored one goal.
