On Sunday, five matches of the 19th round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship were played. The first match took place in Pamplona, where the local team "Osasuna" hosted the players of "Sevilla". Jorge Sampaoli's team continued to fight for the leader position in the country's championship - after a tough battle, they managed to defeat the league's underdog with a score of 4-3. "Osasuna" actively resisted their opponents from Sevilla throughout the entire match. In the 15th minute, the hosts took the lead when Sergio Leon scored after a great pass from Roberto Torres. However, in the 43rd minute, Vincente Iborra equalized the score, but by the 63rd minute, the ball from Iborra's foot found the net of "Sevilla" again. Iborra could not accept this and just a few minutes later, he equalized the score once more. "Sevilla" pressed their opponents for the rest of the match, and in the 80th minute, Franco Vazquez headed the guests in front. In the 92nd minute, Pablo Sarabia increased the visitors' advantage, but in the next attack, "Osasuna" narrowed the gap again. However, there was no more time for the equalizing goal. After 19 rounds, "Sevilla" remains in the second position and is trailing the leaders from Madrid by just one point. However, the "Real" club has played one less match. In the second match, Bilbao's "Athletic" faced Madrid's "Atletico" in front of their home crowd. After a lively battle with their rivals from the capital, the Basque team stood out as equals. "Atletico" took the lead in the 3rd minute after Koke's goal, but at the end of the first half, the hosts managed to score the equalizer. Throughout the match, the Basque team looked better with the ball, and in the 56th minute, they took the lead with a goal from Oscar de Marcos. "Atletico" couldn't catch up and were much more active in attack. In the 80th minute, Antoine Griezmann extended the team's lead after a pass from Fernando Torres. "Atletico" ranks fourth with 35 points and has an 8-point gap from the leaders. Other matches ended with minimal victories for San Sebastian's "Real Sociedad" against Vigo's "Celta" and Seville's "Real Betis" with a draw against "Sporting Gijon". In the last match of the evening, "Barcelona" faced "Eibar" away. The hosts demonstrated pressure at the start of the match and the Catalans crushed their opponents with a score of 4-0. In the 10th minute, "Barca" lost their key player - Sergio Busquets couldn't continue the match due to injury. However, despite this setback, the Catalans managed to score four goals - Denis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar all found the back of the net. "Barca" has 41 points and maintains a 2-point gap from the leaders. Results: "Osasuna" 3 - 4 "Sevilla" 15' [1 - 0] S.
