In the Spain's "Primera" division four matches of the 21st round were played on Saturday.
"Malaga" fought against "Barcelona" in front of their own fans. The hosts, who played dangerously, failed to prove an advantage against the Catalans and lost with a score of 1-2.
The match started with a quick goal from the guests. In the 2nd minute, Luis Enrique's players gained the lead by beating the opponent's goalkeeper, Munir El Haddadi, who has been filling in lately due to injuries of key team players.
However, the opponents did not give up after conceding a goal. The Andalusians actively created attacks and midfielder Juanpi equalized the score in the 32nd minute.
The beginning of the second half was almost identical. A few minutes into the half, Lionel Messi once again put the Catalans ahead, but "Malaga" could not recover, although they posed threats towards the opponents' goal.
"Barcelona" with 48 points climbed to the first place, but Madrid's "Atletico" will have the chance tomorrow to push the Catalans back to the second position.
In other matches, Barcelona's "Espanyol" clashed with "Villarreal". At the end of the match, the "Submarine" managed to equalize the score, but for the second time in a row they lost important points.
