On Saturday, three matches of the 14th round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship were played.
Arriving in the capital, "Barcelona" almost encountered problems in the duel with the league's underdogs. A gift from the "Leganes" player at the end of the match allowed "Barca" to take a victory with a score of 2:1.
The start of the game was particularly unsuccessful for the Catalans - in the 12th minute, a fantastic goal was scored by Youssef En-Nesyri, leading the hosts in front.
In the first half, "Barca" could not find an answer to the goal, but they bounced back in the second half.
In the 53rd minute, Luis Suarez equalized the score after a pass from Lionel Messi, and in the 79th minute, Arturo Vidal secured the victory for the team "by stealing" the ball located near the goal line. The Chilean avoided an own goal by chance - the ball ended up at his feet after an accidental shot from an opponent.
"Barcelona" remains the leader of the table with 28 points.
In other matches, Madrid's "Atletico" left without an important victory before the upcoming clash with "Barca". Diego Simeone's players drew with "Granada".
Renan Lodi put the Madrid team ahead in the second half, but "Granada" equalized the score after seven minutes.
"Atletico" played a draw for the seventh time out of 14 matches in the season. They are three points behind the leaders who have a game in hand.
In another match, Seville's "Real Betis" expanded their victory over "Valencia" in the final moments after Sergio Canales's penalty shot. It was the second victory for Andalusians in the last eight matches.
