The Catalonia club has finally officially announced the acquisition price of Andre Gomes from the "Valencia" team. Barcelona will pay 35 million euros for the 22-year-old Portuguese, and an additional 20 million euros can be added to the "Bats" budget depending on the player's and his new team's achievements. No Barcelona player is included in the deal, although some sources in Spain claimed that the Catalans could have sent unwanted Cristian Tello and Martin Montoya to Valencia. Barcelona also announced that there is an additional 15 million euro payment stipulated in the agreement with Valencia, if A. Gomes wins the "Golden Ball" award. The Portuguese will sign a five-year contract with the Catalonia club. The buyout clause for A. Gomes is 100 million euros.
