"Barca" rewrites club history by advancing to the King's Cup final (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, the King's Cup tournament featured the second leg of the semi-finals.

At the "Mestalla" stadium, after a humiliating defeat in the first match, "Valencia" sought to redeem themselves against "Barcelona". Gary Neville's students led for a long time during the match, but the Catalans widened the scoreline at the end of the game, not only reaching the final but also rewriting the club's history.

In the first match, the "Bats" lost to the tournament champions with a score of 7-0, so these matches were just a formality.

In the 39th minute, Alvaro Negredo outsmarted the visitors' goalkeeper and sent the ball into the net. However, in the 84th minute, 19-year-old defender Wilfrid Kaptoum equalized, helping "Barcelona" rewrite the club's history.

The draw against "Valencia" was the 29th consecutive match without a defeat for the Spanish champions. This is an absolute club record. In the 2010-11 season, Josep Guardiola managed to go unbeaten in 28 consecutive matches.

"Barcelona" will play in the King's Cup final for the eighth time in the past eight years.
