"Barcelona" risks losing Dani Olmo, who returned to the team just last summer.

On Friday, it was announced that "Barca" was not allowed to extend the temporary registration of the 26-year-old Spaniard due to financial issues.

The attacking midfielder, who arrived at the team last summer for 57 million euros, is currently registered until December 31, according to an exemption granted by La Liga.

"Barca" hoped to extend this period until the end of the season, but this was not approved by the Spanish court, which stated that it violates the rights of the country's workers.

The Catalans will continue to seek solutions to this situation by the end of the year.

Some sources report that Olmo could leave "Barca" as a free agent in January if a way to extend his registration is not found. However, at least ESPN reports that such an option is not included in the Spaniard's contract.
