"Barcelona" and "Valencia" are finalizing an agreement regarding the goalkeeper position. Catalan radio station RAC1 announces that the clubs have been negotiating for some time now about the exchange of Jasper Cillessen and Neto. Despite the fact that initially the Catalans did not want to let go of the Dutch goalkeeper without a buyout clause (60 million euros), eventually the best deal was reached for all parties. J. Cillessen will become the main goalkeeper for "Valencia", while 29-year-old Neto will accept a backup role at "Barcelona", but will still have a real chance to expand his trophy cabinet. Neto has been playing for "Valencia" since 2017. Before that, he was also the understudy to Gianluigi Buffon at "Juventus" for two years, and spent another four years at "Fiorentina".
