The 28-year-old football player underwent a medical check-up yesterday, and he will be officially presented to the Catalan team's fans this evening.
Edmilson became the sixth purchase for "Barça" this summer. He has joined previously arrived players Juliano Belletti, Ludovic Giuly, Henrik Larsson, Deco, and Silvinho.
"I am very happy. For every football player, the opportunity to play for Barça is like a dream come true," said Edmilson to the official Barcelona website.
