"Barcelona" chose a candidate to take E. Valverde's place

"Barcelona" team continues to search for a potential candidate to take over the uncertainly led team by Ernesto Valverde.

As "Mundo Deportivo" wrote, the "La Liga" club is not giving up on plans to attract Dutchman Ronald Koeman.

The 56-year-old specialist currently manages the Dutch national team and could only take over the reins of the Catalan club after the European Championship taking place next summer.

According to the publication, "Barcelona" would not want to hire former Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho.

R. Koeman has played for the Barcelona club from 1989 to 1995.
